Great Civilisations of the Ancient Near East: A guided tour in the British Museum
Saturdays 26th November 2011, 28th January & 28th April 2012
This full day tour gives an overview of the great civilisations of the ancient Near East; and, in particular, examines the degree to which claims made by their written records are supported by archaeological & scientific evidence.

Civilisations covered include those of Mesopotamia, Egypt, the Levant, Assyria, Babylonia & Persia.
